Foxrock
Two new detached houses were built in the large garden of an existing 1950’s bungalow. These houses are highly energy-efficient A-rated buildings. Triple glazed windows with built-in temperature controlled shading captures the daytime sunshine. This captured heat is distributed throughout the house by the heat recovery ventilation system, assisted by an air-to-water heat pump. The houses have a full storey underground with sunken gardens at each end. Features such as solar panels contribute to the A2 energy rating.
